Talking to your agent

What kinds of tasks your agent handles well — and what doesn't work yet.

What this is

Your agent is a personal assistant you talk to in plain language — through the Control UI or through any messaging channel you've connected (like Telegram). The more you talk to it, the better it learns your context and preferences.

Just talk to it normally

You don't need special syntax or commands. Tell it what you want the way you'd tell a person. It will ask clarifying questions when it needs to, remember what you've told it before, and use any skills you've installed to actually get things done.

What it's good at

  • Reminders and scheduling — "Remind me to call Sam on Thursday at 2pm."
  • Drafting messages and emails — "Help me reply to this email politely but firmly."
  • Summarizing and answering questions — long articles, your inbox (with the email skill installed), notes you paste in.
  • Planning and brainstorming — trip plans, project breakdowns, weighing trade-offs.
  • Remembering context about you — preferences, names, recurring projects (see Memory & personalization).

What doesn't work yet

  • Voice — text only at the moment. Voice is on the roadmap.
  • Real-time tools without a skill — your agent can't browse the web, send an email, or check your calendar unless you've installed the right skill.
  • Anything its installed skills don't cover — if you ask it to do something it has no skill for, it'll tell you (or just answer from general knowledge instead of taking action).

A few example exchanges

You: Remember that I prefer email over Slack for anything that isn't urgent. Agent: Got it — I'll default to email unless something is time-sensitive.

You: Draft a short reply telling Maria I can't make Friday but Monday works. Agent: Here's a draft: "Hi Maria — Friday won't work for me, but I'm free anytime Monday. Does that suit?"

You: What did we decide about the Q2 launch last week? Agent: Looking back through our chats… we decided to push the launch to mid-May and lead with the docs site.
