Set up Telegram, Discord, and other messaging channels for your agent.

Supported channels

OpenClaw supports a wide range of messaging platforms:

• Telegram — the most popular choice
• Discord — great for community bots
• WhatsApp — via WhatsApp Business API
• Slack — for workplace assistants
• Signal — for privacy-focused users
• iMessage — via BlueBubbles bridge

Setting up Telegram

1. Open Telegram and message @BotFather
2. Send /newbot and follow the prompts to create a bot
3. Copy the bot token
4. Paste it into the Beach channel wizard
5. Your bot is live — message it to start chatting

Setting up Discord

1. Go to the Discord Developer Portal
2. Create a new application and add a bot
3. Copy the bot token
4. Paste it into the Beach channel wizard
5. Invite the bot to your server using the generated link

Multi-channel support

You can connect multiple channels simultaneously. Your agent maintains context across all of them — it's the same assistant, reachable wherever you are.
